These passenger cars are extremely efficient and were intended for the Canadian Armed Forces. The Ukrainian army will receive armored vehicles equipped with a turret and a 25-millimeter cannon. The vehicles will arrive in Ukraine this summer, but first the Ukrainian military will undergo the necessary training. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced this on June 30, CBC reports.
We are just glad that we are helping, and we will continue to explore opportunities and respond to Ukraine’s requests,” the head of the Canadian government said following the NATO summit.
Also, Ukrainian defenders will be given six high-resolution cameras for Bayraktar strike drones.
Recall, US President Joe Biden said that in the coming days he would announce the transfer of a new package of military assistance to Ukraine totaling $800 million. The Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive from overseas partners new air defense systems, more artillery and ammunition, counter-battery radars, even more HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems and additional ammunition for them.
In addition, at the NATO summit, it was decided that 50 countries will transfer to Ukraine 40,000 anti-tank systems, more than 600 tanks, about 500 artillery systems and more than 600,000 artillery ammunition.
