Law enforcement officers discovered a pistol during searches in connection with the murder of linguist Irina Farion.
Police investigators filed a motion to seize property seized during the search on August 14. At the same time, the address and owner of the property are encrypted in the materials. This is stated in the decision of the Galitsky District Court of Lviv.
It is noted that during the searches, law enforcement officers found an iPhone 11 mobile phone with a SIM card, an iPhone 7 with a SIM card, a Lenovo tablet, a Fort 12-R pistol with a magazine, 12 9 PA rounds, 138 9 PA rounds. Sandpaper, drills, screwdrivers, a caliper, four springs, three wipes, a cleaning rod, two booklets, a pair of red gloves, three rubber balls, two Sara boxes, and mobile phone boxes were also found.
The court seized all this property on August 19. The servants of Themis also ordered the law enforcement officers to return the confiscated $1,900, €100 and bank cards.
Let us recall that on July 19, 2024, linguist Iryna Farion was shot in Lviv. The same day, the former MP died in hospital. The police subsequently detained the suspect. Vyacheslav Zinchenko from Dnipro was placed in a pretrial detention center.
