Russians dropped KABs on Sumy region – two killed

    Today, August 22, at about 13:00, Russian invaders, using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, dropped two guided aerial bombs on the civilian infrastructure of the Esman community of the Shostka district of the Sumy region.

    As a result, two people died, the press service of the Sumy region prosecutor’s office reported.

    As a result of the attack by the occupiers, two civilian men, aged 74 and 67, were killed, and the wife of one of the deceased was wounded and hospitalized, the report says.

    A pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code).

    The press service of the Sumy region police reports that over the past 24 hours the enemy has carried out a total of 320 strikes on 52 settlements in the Sumy region using various types of weapons. As a result, six civilians were wounded, two private residential buildings were destroyed, and a number of buildings were damaged.
