Ukrainian aviation hit two bridge crossings in the Kursk region.
The Ukrainian military showed a video of attacks with guided air bombs on two Russian bridge crossings in the Kursk region. The attack took place on August 20, 2024. The corresponding footage was published by the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk, on Telegram.
Tactical aviation pilots of the Air Force, together with their counterparts from other branches and services of the Defense Forces, are successfully delivering logistical messages in the Kursk region, the report says.
Recall that on August 16, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a bridge across the Seim River near the village of Glushkovo in the Kursk region. Another bridge in this region was destroyed by Ukrainian aviation on August 18.
These bridges connected a section of about 700 km from the rest of the Kursk region. They were used to supply ammunition to Russian troops. The invaders tried to restore logistics routes using pontoon bridges, but these objects were also destroyed by the Defense Forces.
