The states of the world, especially not only the United States, but also China, must make a significant contribution to the initiation of a dialogue between countries, the president pointed out.
Czech President Petr Pavel says there are several options for ending Russia’s war against Ukraine. Novinky wrote this on Wednesday, August 21.
Thus, according to him, the war in Ukraine will continue until both sides come to the conclusion that it is impossible to achieve their political goals by military means.
“I believe that in a few years both sides will understand that it is impossible to go further, and negotiations will take place, especially, not only the United States, but also China, must make a significant contribution to this .And push the two countries politically, economically, diplomatically towards negotiations,” said the Czech leader.
At the same time, as Pavel mentioned, the European Union is a great economic and political force.
“However, he cannot influence himself, so he needs a unified approach to the United States and all the democratic countries of the world,” explained the leader of the Czech Republic.
At the same time, he suggested that the conflict could move from a warm phase to a frozen one, “which could last for years.”
Earlier, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Defense Minister John Gealey decided to be open about the use of British weapons by Ukraine on Russian territory.
Also, US congressmen called on Kyiv to lift restrictions on strikes using American weapons on Russian territory.
