Russia is preparing new propaganda operations in European countries, aimed in particular against Ukrainian refugees. The goal of the Russians is to convince people who left the country because of the war not to return.
This was stated by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Vadim Skibitsky, the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate reports.
According to Skibitsky, Russia is already carrying out corresponding activities, for example, on the territory of Italy, where it uses its accomplices – so-called journalists from the Ukrainian occupied territory, to justify the genocidal war against Ukraine.
These are presentations of various “fiction and documentary” books allegedly about Ukraine’s crimes in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, he noted.
Skibitsky emphasized that the Russians are very actively working with Ukrainian citizens who left for European countries because of the war that Russia started.
This is a very powerful work that the Russians have started: this includes the creation of various societies, the education of children, the church – this is what is used to ensure that our Ukrainians lose their identity, and even more so, so that they never return to us, he explained.
