Russia is redeploying small forces to the Kursk region, Pentagon spokesman Ryder said. According to the Pentagon spokesman, the US “is indeed seeing signs that the Russians are redeploying small forces to the Kursk region to respond” to the Ukrainian offensive.”
Ryder declined to specify whether this was a redeployment of Russian forces from Ukraine or from other regions of Russia. At the same time, according to him, there has been an advance of Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region.
During the briefing, Ryder also said that long-term, full-scale operations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Russia’s Kursk region are still a subject of discussions between Washington and Kiev.
