Russian troops used drones to strike an industrial facility in Ternopil.
There was a hit in one of the tanks where fuels and lubricants were stored. Fortunately, there were no casualties. By the morning, the fire was localized, but firefighting continues. All services are working on the scene. This was stated by the head of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Ternopil region Viktor Masley during a briefing.
Ternopil Mayor Serhiy Nadal reported that as of now, no excess of harmful substances in the air and water has been detected. However, he called on Ternopil residents to limit their time outdoors and close windows indoors while the fire is being extinguished.
And in Sumy Oblast, Russians launched a missile strike on energy facilities in the Glukhovskaya community. 72 populated areas were left without power. Repair crews have already restored power supply to some critical infrastructure facilities and the housing sector.
In the Kyiv region, all air targets were shot down during the night attack. However, the debris damaged four private houses and a utility building in one of the settlements. The fire has already been extinguished.
As a reminder, as a result of the arrivals, Ternopil was covered in thick black smoke, and a strong smell of burning was felt in the air. Air measurements are being taken in the Ternopil district. Officials have called for limiting time spent outdoors.
