The Biden administration is trying in this way to convince the world community that it is not helping the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the operation in the Kursk region.
Washington does not share intelligence with Kiev about Russian targets. The administration of US President Joe Biden fears that they will allegedly be considered aides in the operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal in relation to a senior American official on Saturday, August 17.
The United States said it did not know about the operation in the Kursk region before it began and emphasized its ban on using long-range Atacms missiles to strike Russia.
However, Ukraine attracted American Bradley and Stryker armored vehicles to operations on Russian territory, taking advantage of the expanded power to respond to the Russian offensive in the Kharkov region in May, the publication wrote.
The breakthrough on the border was led by the 80th and 82nd Air Assault Brigades – one of the most powerful units in Ukraine, equipped with Stryker and Marder, the relevant interviews mentioned.
“The assault troops were moving so fast that it was difficult to catch up with them. There were several Russian armored vehicles that were targeted as they retreated north,” said a drone operator involved in the operation.
As you know, on August 6, the offensive operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces began in the Kursk region of Russia. On the night of August 9, a Russian military column near Rylsk was destroyed.
Subsequently, photos and videos of the destroyed column of the Russian Army in the Kursk region were shown online. Judging by the footage, dozens of Russian soldiers and trucks were destroyed.
