Former prisoner of the Kremlin, now public figure and serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleg Sentsov published a post on his Facebook page in which he described how the defenders of Ukraine treat captured Russians.
According to him, his unit captured several prisoners. Sentsov specified that this event did not occur on the territory of the Kursk region of Russia.
The youngest is 19 (will be in November). He spent four days at the position. He got caught a month ago for a joint. They offered him either prison or war. He chose the latter and now I wrap his hands with duct tape, and he asks when he can call his mother, – said Sentsov.
I give them water, a smoke (their cigarettes), I don’t humiliate them, but I warn them about a bullet in the head if they try to resist. I get the necessary information, instruct the convoy and send them further to the rear, he added.
Sentsov stressed that he has “a lot of rage against Russians,” but is “completely indifferent to them as prisoners.”
And not because they have such a shabby appearance and immediately become bunnies, and I am so good. For me, they are only an exchange fund, for which we can get our people out of the enemy prison, – Sentsov noted.
He emphasized that “it doesn’t take much courage to fight prisoners,” in contrast to the amount of spirit needed to storm hostile positions.
When I look at our fighters next to these foreign tourists, I understand that we will win. In strength, in spirit, in motivation, in truth. It is very difficult for us and it may be even more difficult, but we will win. Because we are worthy. We are worthy of future victory, – he summed up.
