Biden announced the supply of Western air defense systems to Ukraine and more HIMARS

US President Joe Biden has announced a new $ 800 million aid package to Ukraine that includes state-of-the-art Western air defense systems.

Biden noted that the United States has already provided $ 7 billion in military aid to Ukraine since he took office and plans to continue support. He said this at a press conference following the NATO summit, a correspondent of European Pravda reports from Madrid.

“In the coming days, we plan to announce more, including new advanced Western air defense systems for Ukraine, more artillery and ammunition, anti-battery radar, additional ammunition for the HIMARS missile system we supply that to Ukraine, ”Joe Biden said.

He added that Ukraine will also receive more HIMARS installations from other countries.

Earlier, US President Joe Biden said how, prior to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, he had warned President Vladimir Putin about NATO’s reaction in the event of an attack.
