Just at the beginning of this year, 167 children from communities still occupied by the Kherson region were evacuated to Ukrainian-controlled territory.

The head of Kherson OVA on Thursday, August 15, announced the return of two families with minor children from the occupied territories.

“Save Ukraine conducted another successful rescue operation in the temporarily occupied left bank of the Kherson region. Thanks to the efforts of volunteers, they managed to bring back two Ukrainian families, and the oldest is 17,” it said.

The head of the OVA added that at the beginning of this year alone, 167 children from the occupied communities of the Kherson region were evacuated to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

I am endlessly grateful to everyone who, despite all the difficulties, returns to our people! – Prokudin mentioned.

We remind you that Ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets recently reported the return of six children from the occupied territories.

Previously, nine children from the temporarily occupied communities of the Kherson region were returned to the controlled territory of Ukraine.
