The occupiers are approaching Pokrovsk – there are just over 10 km left to the outskirts of the city.
According to DeepState, over the past 24 hours the enemy has occupied Zhelanne, Orlovka, and has also managed to advance in Nikolaevka and Zhuravka. Since the beginning of this day alone, the Russians have carried out 23 assaults in this direction, and over the past 24 hours – 58.
President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Pokrovsk and Toretsk are currently the main areas of Ukraine’s defense at the front. According to him, “there are currently the most Russian assaults there and the most of our attention. Priority deliveries are precisely there.”
The head of the Pokrovskaya MVA, Sergei Dobryak, called on local residents not to delay evacuation, because the enemy is cynically striking at critical infrastructure or houses.
According to Dobryak, the situation will only get worse. Therefore, local authorities will ask locals not to delay and evacuate – this especially concerns families with children and the elderly.
While Kyiv is succeeding in Kursk region, the Russians are gradually occupying Donetsk region. Politico reminds that, according to DeepState data, over the past 24 hours Russia has occupied the villages of Zhelanne and Orlovka, and has also advanced towards New York, Krasnogorovka, Nikolaevka and Zhuravka in Donetsk region.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has neither confirmed nor denied this report. However, the General Staff reports daily that intense fighting continues in these areas, and that most enemy attacks are taking place in the Pokrovsk direction.
