Ukraine repulsed Russian drone attack overnight.
On the night of August 15, the enemy launched three Kh-59 guided air missiles from the airspace of the Kursk region. In addition, the Russians launched 29 Shahed-type attack UAVs from Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Yeysk. The Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.
The enemy drones were confronted by mobile fire teams of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, aviation, anti-aircraft missile units and electronic warfare systems of the Air Force.
As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, 29 enemy UAVs were shot down. They were destroyed in the territories of Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Kherson, Zaporizhia, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kyiv regions.
Let us recall that on August 14, air defense forces destroyed 17 of 23 Shahed-136/131 type attack UAVs at night. The targets were destroyed in eight regions.
