Russian troops have begun digging trenches in the Kursk region amid the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ offensive.
The enemy is building defensive trenches on the line of possible advancement of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. They are being dug near the Lgov-Sudzha highway, 1.5 km from the city of Sudzha. The corresponding satellite images were published by OSINTtechnical analyst on the social network X.
These data indicate that the closest trenches to Ukraine from those being built are located near the village of Viktorovka. This is 45 km from the border. And the farthest trenches are located at the intersection of the Selikhovye Dvory – Ivanino and Dyakonovo – Sudzha highways near Kursk, 75 km from the Ukrainian border.
Let us recall that satellite images have recently appeared online, indicating that Russian troops have begun to hastily erect fortifications on the approaches to the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant. The enemy trenches are located south of Kurchatov, approximately 15 km from the NPP.
