The Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories has opened a 24-hour hotline for residents of the Kursk region who want to flee Ukraine or need humanitarian assistance. This was announced on Wednesday, August 14, by the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reunification of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk.
He noted that Ukraine should be prepared for the possible reception of refugees from the Kursk region, where the situation could worsen due to the humanitarian crisis.

“Ukraine complies with all norms of international humanitarian law and will provide the civilians of the Kursk region with the necessary protection and support,” Vereshchuk emphasized.
