In connection with the case of the bombing of the Nord Stream pipeline, the German prosecutor’s office has issued an arrest warrant for a Ukrainian.
German media learned that the suspect was Ukrainian Vladimir S. Two more Ukrainian citizens are also suspected of attaching explosives to gas pipelines. All three were traveling in the Baltic Sea on the German yacht Andromeda in September 2022.
Vladimir’s last known place of residence was a town near Warsaw. Germany asked Poland to arrest the man and hand him over, but the Poles did not do so.
Let us recall that on September 26, 2022, explosions and a gas leak occurred on the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines. They run along the bottom of the Baltic Sea from Russia to Germany.
Ukraine denies involvement in sabotage.
