Georgian volunteers fighting against the Russians during the Kursk operation wrote the name of their fallen comrade on the ice arena in Sudzha.
Bakhva – this inscription in Georgian and English appeared on the palace in the city of Sudzha in the Kursk region at the entrance to the city.
This inscription in honor of the Georgian special forces colonel Bakhva Chikobava, a participant in the war with the Russian Federation in 2008, was written on his social networks by journalist Yuri Butusov.
Chikobava was seriously wounded in that war, but came to defend Ukraine’s freedom in 2014. Bakhva served in the Donbass volunteer battalion and then transferred to Azov.
In the ranks of Azov, combat training instructor Bakhva Chikobov died as a hero in close combat with Russian occupiers in Mariupol in March 2022.
