The Russian Ministry of Defense is passing off old video recordings as footage of “successful strikes” against the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region.
Thus, on August 10, the Russian propaganda RIA Novosti, citing the defense department of the aggressor country, published a video of Russian Mi-28NM helicopters allegedly striking with S-13 air missiles at Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel and armored vehicles in the border region of Kursk. This is reported by The Insider.
However, experts have found out that in fact these shots were filmed in Kremenna and Vremenny Yar in the Donetsk region.
And on August 9, the Russian Ministry of Defense published a video illustrating allegedly new strikes by Russian troops on the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Sumy Oblast. However, this video also does not correspond to the occupiers’ statements, since it was made on July 14. At that time, it was published by TASS.
Let us recall that American media believe that the Ukrainian operation in the Kursk region was a huge blow to the prestige of the Russian dictator and war criminal Vladimir Putin. In the West, they believe that the counteroffensive on Russian territory is “amazing.”
