A powerful fire broke out on a gas platform in the Black Sea.
The fire at one of the so-called “Boyko towers” controlled by the occupiers broke out after a night attack by the Ukrainian Navy, the Crimean Wind monitoring group reported on Telegram.
Meanwhile, the spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmitry Pletenchuk, reported on Facebook that the occupiers used this location for GPS spoofing in order to make civilian shipping dangerous. 12 hours before the defeat, the enemy dropped equipment and military personnel onto the platform. There were no civilians there, and the tower did not perform its standard functions.
Let us recall that Ukrainian journalist Andrey Tsaplienko reported that the Ukrainian Navy last night struck the gas rigs “Sivash” and “Petro Godovanets”, which are still controlled by the Russian armed forces.
