The former president of the Russian Federation, in his usual way, was outraged by the permission that Germany gave to Ukraine to use its tanks in the attack on the Kursk region.
The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, said that Russia will do everything to ensure that Russian tanks reach Berlin. So, he responded with Germany’s permission to use its tanks on Russian territory. Medvedev published a correspondingly angry post on Twitter on Friday, August 9.
In particular, he was outraged by an article in the German newspaper Bild that German tanks were once again driving on Russian soil. He threatened that Russian tanks would soon be on Berlin again.
“The German newspaper Bild published a revanchist article, in which they proudly announced the return of German tanks to Russian soil. In response, we will do everything to ensure that new Russian tanks arrive in Platz d in Berlin – ed.),” wrote Medvedev.
Let’s remember that the head of the Bundestag Defense Committee, Markus Faber, said that Ukraine can use German weapons at its own discretion, because after the transfer it becomes Ukrainian.
Also, after the Ukrainian military attack in the Kursk region, Medvedev threatened “revenge,” saying that the Russian Federation would stop “only if it deems it necessary.”
