The number of people killed and wounded as a result of Russian shelling of Konstantinovka has increased.
Ten people died and 35 were injured. Residential buildings, shops, and more than 10 cars were also damaged. Rescuers extinguished the fire in a shopping center with an area of 1,000 square meters. Emergency services are working at the scene. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadim Filashkin, said that the Russians hit the city with an Kh-38 missile.
The cynical shelling of the hypermarket also damaged the Nova Poshta office located in the building. The company’s press service reported that the cargo department was hit. No one among the employees was killed, but one worker suffered a concussion.
It is known in advance that some of the parcels survived. The estimated cost of the destroyed cargo will be fully compensated to the clients.
Russia will be held accountable for this terror, and we will do everything to ensure that peace continues to be with Ukraine, to support our defense and save the lives of our people, – this is how President Volodymyr Zelensky responded to the shelling of Kostyantynivka on Facebook.
Let us recall that on August 9, the Russian army struck the city of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region. As a result of enemy shelling, which was carried out from barrel artillery, a supermarket was hit. At first, it was known about two dead and 17 wounded.
Local Telegram channels informed about the arrival at the “Ecomarket”, where many are constantly located.
