Mali has decided to expel Sweden’s ambassador after Stockholm announced it would end bilateral aid to the African country. This was reported by the Reuters news agency in connection with a statement by the Mali Foreign Ministry.
The Swedish ambassador was ordered to leave the country within 72 hours.
The department explained the decision with a “hostile” statement from the Swedish Minister of International Development Cooperation and Trade, Johan Forssell.
