The fighters planted the GUR battle banner next to the position, which the enemy called the Suvorov Monument.
Special forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine carried out a raid on the Kinburn Spit, temporarily occupied by the enemy, on Friday, August 9. During the operation, dozens of Russians were destroyed, as well as their equipment. This was stated in a message on the GUR Facebook page.
During the raid on Kinburn Spit, special forces destroyed:

six units of enemy armored vehicles;

about three dozen conquerors.
At the spit, the soldiers attacked the enemy’s fortresses in their positions – the Kinburn Fortress, the Marine Station, the Suvorov Monument.
Near the position of the Monument to Suvorov, the fighters erected the GUR battle flag.
As we have already written, on August 6 it became known that special forces from the Artan active operations unit and the Marine Center of the Main Intelligence Directorate attacked the Tendra Spit.
