A Ukrainian drone has again hit a Russian military helicopter in mid-air.
The fighters of the M2 unit of the SBU Special Operations Center managed to hit another enemy Mi-8 helicopter with an FPV drone. The drone with a powerful fragmentation warhead hit the tail section of the aircraft. This happened in the Kursk region. Volunteer Sergey Sternenko reported this on August 9 in Telegram.
It is noted that the further fate of the Mi-8 is unknown, because it stopped operating in the specified area.
Let us recall that on July 31, for the first time in the world, a Ukrainian drone destroyed a Russian Mi-8 transport and combat helicopter in the air over Donetsk. The entire crew and passengers were eliminated. The employees of the Security Service of Ukraine worked professionally.
