On the night of August 9, the Belgorod region of Russia was subjected to a massive attack by Ukrainian UAVs.
Russian air defense shot down 29 aircraft-type drones over the region’s territory. “Nobody” was hurt in the attack, emergency services are working at the sites of the debris. Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported this on Telegram.
According to the dictatorship’s representative, in the city of Stary Oskol, windows were broken and roofs, facades and fences were torn up in two private homes, and one passenger car was damaged.
And in the city of Novy Oskol, as a result of a UAV attack, a hangar on the territory of an industrial enterprise caught fire. The fire has allegedly already been extinguished by employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Recall that on the night of August 9, a UAV struck a military airfield near the Russian city of Lipetsk. An energy infrastructure facility was also damaged. Local authorities declared a state of emergency in the Lipetsk District.
