Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko has begun to ponder what will happen “when Russia falls.”
At a meeting with participants of the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS states, he called for “preserving unity and cooperation.”
If Russia collapses, we will all be drawn into this funnel. Recently, such a situation has developed, including in connection with the holding of the SVO in Ukraine, that many – both leaders and security officials, which should absolutely not happen – have begun to look for some kind of benefit in this.
You know, guys, based on my experience, I will say that life is so stormy now and very changeable. Many are looking for benefits. Some [думає]: In the future we will stay away from Russia, it is under sanctions. We are somehow afraid of falling under them, etc. We are looking for our own benefit.
Do not do that.
…Who knows what will happen to us tomorrow, to our countries, and whether we will have to turn to Russia for help. And recent events show that no one needs us. Neither Russia, nor you and I, and so on. We need to stick together, Lukashenko said.
The Belarusian dictator said these words against the backdrop of the advance of Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region of Russia.
