The defendant allegedly planned terrorist attacks on the facilities of the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense. On the Internet, he found instructions for making explosive devices and “distributed this knowledge” to group members.

During the search, ingredients for making a homemade explosive device, as well as propaganda materials, were reportedly found on the man.

Earlier, a court in the Russian Federation found a Russian citizen guilty of high treason who planned to join the ranks of the Freedom of Russia Legion (LSR). The court sentenced him to 10 years in prison in a maximum security colony.
