The ferry crossing was restored using one of the repaired ferries, Navy spokesman Dmitry Pletenchuk said.
The Russians returned the ferry crossing using one of the repaired ferries. The Spokesman of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dmitry Pletenchuk spoke about this on the air at the national telethon Unified News, reports Ukrinform.
“A noticeable change in the situation at sea is the restoration of the ferry crossing with one of the previously damaged ferries that has been repaired and is now half the size of the Slavyanin in terms of the number of cars it can accommodate, but, like you, they don’t have much choice,” said Pletenchuk.
The spokesman added that two enemy submarines carrying cruise missiles are currently on duty in the Black Sea.
“Today you can see two submarines of Project 636 in the sea, these are called Varshavyankas, they are carriers of cruise missiles, but one of them has been in the sea for a long time, and these submarines will probably have a rotation ,” said Pletenchuk.
He added that surface ships have not entered the Black Sea for a long time, and they have completely left the Sea of Azov, so the main presence of the Russians at sea is currently ensured by submarines.
Recently, Pletenchuk reported that Russia for the first time brought three submarines to the Black Sea.
