Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Sunday that an attack on Israel could happen within 24 to 48 hours.
Iran has warned airlines to avoid the country’s airspace in the coming days. The Wall Street Journal writes about it on Monday, August 5.
Iran has asked aviation companies to avoid the country’s airspace amid threats by Iranian officials to attack Israel.
Iran’s message on Monday came after US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told G7 foreign ministers in a call on Sunday that Tehran could attack Israel within 24 to 48 hours.
However, Blinken did not specify what form such an attack might take.
“An attack by Iran aimed at civilian targets, whatever it is can be met with an immediate response in the form of the destruction of all Iranian nuclear facilities,” Israel sent this message to Iran through one of European countries.
Let’s remember that Israel is preparing for a multi-day attack from Iran and Hezbollah using missiles and drones, and is also considering the possibility of a preventive strike against the enemy.
Earlier, the leaders of Iran and Hezbollah vowed to take revenge for the killing of Hezbollah military commander Fuad Shuqra and Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh.
Sky News Arabia also reported, citing Western intelligence sources, that Iran plans to attack Israel on August 12-13, the national day of mourning for Jews.
