Ukraine wins three more medals at 2024 Olympics – gold and two bronzes in athletics

Ukrainian Yaroslava Mahuchikh won a gold medal in the high jump at the 2024 Olympic Games. She finished the final at a height of 2.04 m. Australian Nicola Olislagers finished second with a height of 2 m. This was reported by the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine on Facebook.
Ukrainian athlete Iryna Gerashchenko shared bronze with Australian Eleanor Patterson – together they cleared 1.95 m and failed to clear 1.98 m in three attempts.
Another bronze medal was won by Ukrainian Mykhailo Kokhan. He showed a result of 79.39 m in hammer throw. “Gold” was received by an athlete from Canada, and “silver” – by a representative of Hungary.
Let us recall that the Ukrainian sabre fencing team won the 2024 Olympic Games. Ukrainian sabre fencers defeated athletes from South Korea in the final. Ukraine was represented by Olga Kharlan, Alina Komashchuk, Elena Krovatska and Yulia Bakastova.
