Moldova says if men of military age will be deported to Ukraine

More than 23 thousand Ukrainian men illegally entered Moldova after February 2022.

Kyiv is holding a “specific dialogue” with Chisinau regarding the return to Ukraine of men of military age who illegally entered Moldovan territory. The Prime Minister of Moldova, Dorin Recean, announced this on Friday, August 2, in an interview with NewsMaker.

He noted that Chisinau will comply with international law in this regard.

“We, like others, follow international rules and human rights.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova denied the information spread by Russian propagandists that Moldova is ready to immediately extradite men of military age to Ukraine.

Ukraine is discussing with Moldova the repatriation of Ukrainian men of military age who left the country illegally.
