British Defense Minister Grant Shapps commented on the arrival of the first F-16 fighter jet in Ukraine. He wrote about it on platform X on Thursday, August 1.
“The F-16s in Ukraine mark a turning point in the war against Putin and his Su-35s. The first group of Ukrainian pilots graduated from the Royal Air Force in March. Britain and its allies must continue to do everything possible to support Ukraine in its battle for the sky.” the emphasis of the British minister.
