The Russian army does not stop storming Ukrainian positions – 144 combat clashes occurred over the past 24 hours. Most attacks were repelled in the Pokrovsk direction – here the Russians tried to break through the defense 48 times. Another 23 assaults were stopped in the Toretsk direction. This is stated in the construction of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for July 31.

In the Liman direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 18 attacks, and in the Kurakhovsky direction, the Defense Forces stopped 16 Russian assaults. Another 12 enemy attempts to advance were stopped in the Kramatorsk direction. Seven and six enemy assaults were unsuccessful for the Russians in the Kupyansk and Kharkov directions, respectively.
Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy attacks in the Vremevsky and Orekhov directions, and in the Seversky direction the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled four attacks.
The General Staff noted that over the past 24 hours, the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,060 people. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized nine tanks, 20 armored combat vehicles, 30 artillery systems, one MLRS, an air defense system, 21 operational-tactical level UAVs, a cruise missile, 52 vehicles and one unit of special equipment of the occupiers.
Let us recall that on July 30, information about an enemy event in Toretsk appeared on the Internet, however, this is not true. The National Security and Defense Council stated that Toretsk in Donetsk Oblast is controlled by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. There are no Russian occupiers in the city, but a sabotage and reconnaissance group of invaders tried to enter Toretsk.
