On July 30, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky familiarized himself with the process of building fortifications and held a meeting in Volyn.
On our side, there is a strong defense both in personnel in terms of numbers and in defense lines. In all regions bordering Russia and Belarus, the number of border guards has also been increased. And we continue to strengthen this, Zelensky’s press service quotes him as saying.
The President visited one of the strongholds near Belarus. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, anti-tank ditches, protective fences and platoon strongholds with firing positions have been set up in the territory of Volyn.
And in the directions of probable movement of the occupiers’ armored vehicles, reinforced concrete structures and protective structures have been installed to shelter personnel.
