The Hungarian prime minister called Washington’s “silence regarding an obvious act of terrorism” an “act of compliance.”
The explosions at the Nord Stream gas pipelines were a terrorist act “clearly carried out under American leadership.” This was said by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in a keynote speech at the Tusványos summer camp in Romania, European Pravda reports.
The Hungarian official claimed that European policy had allegedly failed and that Europe had “abandoned the protection of its own interests.”
“Today, Europe does nothing but unconditionally follow the foreign policy of the US Democratic Party, even at the cost of harming itself,” he said.
He has traditionally complained that the sanctions allegedly “cause fundamental damage to European interests”: they raise energy prices and make the European economy uncompetitive.
“The fact that we are silent about the bombing of the Nord Stream gas pipeline, that Germany itself is silent about an obvious act of terrorism committed under American leadership against its property, and that we have not investigate, do not try to find out and do not raise this issue legally – just as we did not do the right thing by bugging Angela Merkel, carried out with the help of Denmark, is nothing but an act of obedience, Orban assured.
Let’s remember that the head of the Hungarian government confirmed in his statement that he shares Russia’s opinion about the alleged “US involvement” in the weakening of the Nord Streams.
Orban: Power is shifting from the West to Asia and the Russian Federation
