Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down a Russian Kh-59/Kh-69 guided missile and four Shahed attack UAVs during the night. The commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Nikolai Oleshchuk, announced this on July 27.
According to him, the enemy attacked with Kh-59/Kh-69 guided missiles from the airspace of the Zaporozhye region and four Shahed attack UAVs from Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation.
It was noted that the targets were shot by the forces and means of the Ukrainian defense forces in the regions of Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Kharkov and Kyiv.
Also, in the past and present days, the air defense destroyed eight more air targets in the south and northeast direction: 4 Supercam reconnaissance UAV, 1 Outpost strike reconnaissance UAV, 1 UAV (type to be determined), 2 Lancet loitering ammunition .
