Military man Vladislav and his wife go on vacation in the Carpathians, but the trip is interrupted by border guards. The incident occurred at a station in the village of Kvasy, when travelers stopped to check their documents. The military wife, journalist Olesya Kotubey-Gerutskaya, spoke about this on Instagram.
According to him, in the morning they were stopped by law enforcement officers and border guards. Vladislav presented the UBI and a vacation permit, but despite this, the couple had to explain the purpose and route of their trip. They were sent to the village of Delovoye, located 36 kilometers from where they stopped.
There, Vladislav was detained at the border service department, from where he was taken to the Khust TCC, 70 kilometers from Delovoye.
The soldier was released only at night. However, the man was not taken back to Delovoye, but taken to the village of Solotvino.
Olesya mentioned that this is the last vacation this year.
The representative of the Mukachevo border detachment Lesya Fedorova explained in a commentary in hromadske that restrictions on the stay of tourists in the border zone have expanded. Border guards check all those liable for military service in the border zone.
We remind you that during martial law in Ukraine, all men aged 18-60 are subject to mobilization. But there are some exceptions – employees of critical companies, government agencies and others are “reserved”.
