An FSB agent operating in the Odessa region was detained. The defendant carried out Russian tasks in two areas of reconnaissance and explosive activities: arranging fire and arson. The SBU reported this on July 23.

Among the enemy’s priority targets are the air defense positions that protect the city’s airspace. Another area of the defendant’s criminal activity was the destruction of relay cabinets of Ukrzaliznytsia. First of all, we are talking about the burning of semaphores in important sections of railway communication.
After the first burning of one of these cabinets, the SBU detained a Russian agent.
According to the available data, the defendant is preparing to commit new acts of sabotage on transport infrastructure facilities.

The defendant was charged with suspicion under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – high treason committed under martial law; sabotage committed under martial law; illegal acquisition and storage of ammunition.
The detainee is in custody. He faces up to life in prison.
