Law enforcement officers came to the Kyiv City State Administration services (they agreed on the location of the attraction), state control bodies (they issued permits and must control the work of the trolley) and to the company that owns the attraction. The director of the attraction and its staff have already been questioned. Documentation, which is being checked in violation of safety, has also been seized.
Yesterday it became known that the attraction is owned by the company “Active Country”. Its director Denis Kurta recorded a video message in which he stated that this tragedy should not have happened and is doing everything necessary to assist the investigation.
The operator of the Kyiv Flyline attraction (belongs to the Aktivnaya Strana chain) stated that it is cooperating with the investigation and has all the necessary documents and certificates for the equipment, and that ZIPline has undergone constant inspections and examinations.
On the morning of July 22, rescuers discovered the body of a young man who fell into the Dnieper.
