President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this in his evening address to the nation on July 21.
Now we can say: there is a strengthening of our air defense. The German “Petriot” arrived in Ukraine, I want to thank Germany and the United States for this step.
The President also spoke about the investigation into the murder of Irina Farion.
On July 21, Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky also reported to the President about the situation at the front.
According to the president, the commander-in-chief himself toured some of the brigades.
The key issue is the provision of our military. What exactly is lacking – in each direction, in all our main positions. The distribution of shells and a sufficient number of drones. It is very important that in all main directions it is felt that we have something to inflict maximum losses on the enemy.
The Air Force Commander also gave a report.
And about the work of our fire groups – shooting down “shahids” and countering Russian missiles. Now we can say – there is a strengthening of our air defense. The German “Petriot” has arrived in Ukraine. I want to thank Germany and the United States for this step. We can do much more in the sky. Of course, there is still a lot of work to do, and this is far from guaranteed protection, but more power for Ukraine.
