Russian hackers hacked FleepBot’s post automation service and attacked a series of Ukrainian Telegram channels. The State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

On Sunday, July 21, mass publications of provocative messages were noted on a series of prominent Ukrainian Telegram channels.

Hackers hacked the FleepBot post automation service, developed and owned by a Russian company. Hackers make Telegram posts on behalf of the owners.

The State Committee for Special Communications recommended removing the FleepBot bot from channel administrators to fix the problem.

“We want to re-emphasize the danger of using any software from an aggressor country, and the need to carefully check the source of the software before using it,” the message said.

Those affected by the hackers are requested to contact the CERT-UA management team: via email [email protected] or call +38 (044) 281-88-25.

As we have already written, the United States has imposed a complete ban on the use of Kaspersky Lab software because of its ties to Russia.
