Today, July 19, on Masaryk Street in Lviv, the famous Ukrainian linguist Iryna Farion was shot.

The shot was fired into the temple, as reported by the local publication Varta1.
According to the publication, Farion is in critical condition and was taken away by ambulance. The police are searching for the shooter.
People’s Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko noted in his Telegram channel that, according to preliminary information, the attacker was waiting for Farion at her home.
TV presenter Marta Oliyarnyk reported on her Facebook page, citing her own sources, that the shooter was seen by neighbors – he was wearing gloves and the weapon did not have a silencer.
