Zelensky met with the British King

Zelensky said that the United Kingdom remains one of Ukraine’s closest and most important allies.

On July 18, President Vladimir Zelensky met with the King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Charles III. He reported it on Telegram.

“I am grateful to the King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Charles III, for the audience,” the president said.

Zelensky said that the United Kingdom remains one of Ukraine’s closest and most important allies.

“We appreciate all the support given to the Ukrainian people,” the head of state emphasized.

We remind you that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, as part of his participation in the fourth summit of the European Political Community held in Great Britain, met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

Zelensky also reportedly welcomed Ursula von der Leyen’s re-election as head of the European Commission.
