Having a military registration document when crossing the border is a mandatory condition for all male citizens of Ukraine aged 18 to 60 years from July 17. This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine (SBSU ) on Wednesday.
“When crossing the border for departure, the border guards check the military registration documents of all male Ukrainian citizens aged 18 to 60 years The document can be paper or electronic,” said message.
The department recalled that on July 16, the period established by the law of Ukraine expired, during which citizens had to register in the military or clarify their military registration data.
In the absence of a military registration document, the border guards refused to cross the state border to leave Ukraine.
The basis for refusal will be the presence in the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Persons liable for Military Service and Reservists of information about the placement of such a person on the wanted list. In such cases, the police will be called to the scene to administratively detain the person and transport him to the nearest territorial recruitment and social support center (TCC and SP).
Mentioned separately is the category of men who have the right to cross the border due to deferment from conscription or exemption from military registration for health reasons. Their military registration documents must indicate information about receiving such a postponement or exemption from military registration, or there must be a certificate in the form specified in Appendix 6 of the Procedure for conscripting citizens for in military service during mobilization, for a special approved period. by a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated May 16, 2024 No. 560.
The categories of people who, according to the Rules for Crossing the Border by Citizens of Ukraine, are allowed to leave Ukraine, are currently unchanged.
We remind you that until July 16, those liable for military service, reservists and conscripts must update their data, such as their place of residence, contact phone number and email. There is a huge queue at TsNAU and TCC everywhere in the regions of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defense said that those liable for military service who did not update their data before July 16 can receive fines from 17 thousand to 25.5 thousand hryvnias, and a separate fine can be received for not passing the military and military test.
