More than 115 thousand residents of Buryatia were left without electricity due to the shutdown of a power unit at the Gusinoozerskaya State District Power Plant. Before this, residents of Gusinoozersk heard an explosion and saw smoke coming from the direction of the station. This was reported by the Astra Telegram channel.
At the Gusinoozerskaya State District Power Plant in Buryatia, two out of three power units were killed. Local residents said that before the power outage, there was an explosion at the power plant, and smoke rose from the business territory.
The cause of the accident was not officially reported.
Earlier it became known that power outages in the Krasnodar region of Russia affected more than 325 thousand people, in the Rostov region – more than 226 thousand people.
