The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kemerovo region said that as a result of the investigation, two teenagers, 15 and 13 years old, were detained.

Russian schoolchildren destroyed more than 160 graves in Kuzbass (Kemerovo region, Russian Federation), including those of the occupiers who were liquidated during the war against Ukraine. This was reported on Telegram by the Russian publication Astra, which positions itself as independent with a reference to the local Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Authorities say teenagers vandalized 166 tombstones in the village of Berezovo near Novokuznetsk. Among them are the graves of participants in the war against Ukraine.

The Russian agency said that as a result of the investigation, students aged 13 and 15 were detained. They allegedly “confessed what they did” and said they were drunk.

The investigation is currently underway.
