A 14-year-old Russian schoolgirl who fried a sausage in the Eternal Flame faces 5 years in prison.
In Russia, a criminal case was opened against a 14-year-old girl for frying sausages in the Eternal Flame in the city of Ruza, Moscow Region. Russian media reported this on Monday, July 15.
The case is being investigated under the articles of desecration and rehabilitation of Nazism by desecrating symbols of military glory. The punishment under these articles is given up to 5 years in prison.
The case was opened after the publication in the media of a video showing a girl with turquoise hair cooking sausages in the Eternal Flame in Ruga near the memorial complex to those killed during the war. The incident happened on July 13.
Law enforcement identified the girl as a 14-year-old student from Ruza. He was investigated and placed on preventive registration with the internal affairs bodies.
According to preliminary information, the eighth grader and his friend went for a walk, got hungry and bought sausages at the store. In Partizan Square, the girls decided to warm them up so they could eat something hot. They took a video of the cooking process on their phone and then posted it on their social networks.
The schoolgirl told security forces that she did not think she was insulting anyone with her actions.
We remind you that in May in Moscow, a man who came to report the robbery had a report issued by himself to the police department about “discrediting” the Russian army because of his blue-yellow hair.
An African student was given a suspended sentence for twerking next to the Eternal Flame in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia.
