A bus with forty pilgrims overturned in the Ternopil region. Ternopil regional police reported this on their Facebook page on Sunday, July 14.
“The accident was reported on special line 102 on July 14 at about 8:00 a.m. The accident occurred on a highway near the village of Rakovets, Ternopil region,” the message said.
According to preliminary data, the driver lost control and drove into a ditch.
“There were 41 people on the bus; they were going to the All-Ukrainian pilgrimage to Zarvanitsa. Today two passengers were taken to the hospital with injuries,” the message said.
