One of the features of combat operations is the active use of robotic and unmanned systems in combat formation. This is what the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky said in Telegram on Friday, July 12.
“The other day I worked at one of the training centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where testing (research tests) of various forms of combined use of ground and air robotic and unmanned systems continues in real conditions of combat project and we have the first successes in its implementation,” he noted general
Syrsky added that one of the features of modern combat operations is the active use of robotic and unmanned systems in combat formation of a combined arms unit according to a single plan to ensure the withdrawal of personnel from most dangerous zones and their job substitution. .
“My high priority is the rapid practical introduction of modern unmanned combat and robotic ground-based and air-based platforms to the troops,” said the commander-in-chief.
Syrsky said the goal is to shorten the path that a technical invention (innovation) takes by scientists from the laboratory to the production workshop and beyond to the combat unit.
Let’s recall that Syrsky earlier named a top priority for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and pointed to a threatening trend at the front.
